For those wondering why I haven't released anything in a long time...Well I wanted to keep it private but last year I had an injury, I thought in time I would recover but in fact the pain only gets worse every month, which prevents me from doing anything on a PC longer than a few minutes. So my releases will be very slow, but hopefully in time I can recover and get faster releases.

Dirty Pair vol 8 (Flash disc 1)

This contains Dirty Pair Flash OVA 1. I have also added the English audio to it.

Discs 4 & 5, which contained the remainder of the TV series has been dropped because of the R1 release. Unlike the OVA's which are a vast improvement over the R1, I feel the R1 of the TV series is about just as great as the R2J. Plus the R1 subtitles are better.

Chances are high the project will be dropped after Set 1 is complete however, I don't have the money to buy Set 2 and the donation widget didn't work. Which I expected but thought it was worth a try.
However having Set 1 complete is better than nothing and hopefully someday someone will upload the rest of the R2J DVD's.

Thanks to djmasturbeat for uploading high quality HK DVD's. English subs were included but they aren't as high quality as the Central-Anime fansub scripts. While they are HK DVD's the quality is probably nearly as good as the R2J. Only 3 episodes per DVD so they aren't highly compressed and they even include the original LPCM audio.

These patches will patch & set to default the Central-Anime fansub. All the subtitles(Chinese, English HK, Japanese Signs) originally on the DVDs are included except for disc 2 where the bitrate was maxed and I could only include the fansub subtitle.

I took the DVD9 and added the fansub script to the 23 minute Desert Island OVA and then stripped the large sized recap video. I wasn't able to find any subs for the 90 minute recap. Personally I find the recap pointless anyway, better to just watch the TV series & the video quality actually looks worse than the R1 or R2J TV DVD's. Probably because they didn't take good care of the recap over the years.

No more R2J DVD's were posted so until then its on hold. DarkCrono who uploaded the first four DVD's might upload the DVD5's at a later time. However that isn't for sure, so if you have them please upload them at ADC, preferably DVD9 if possible.

Space Battleship Yamato Films -
Not all the R2J DVD's have been uploaded and those that have I don't have subtitles for because the R1 subtitle were hardcoded. [UPDATE] This is now canceled. Very unlikely the rest will be uploaded but if they ever do I'll resume.

Heavy Metal L-Gaim -
Haven't done anything with this project in a long time. I have all the R2J DVD's, however I only have the bootleg subtitles which are very low quality. Its on hold until I can get better subtitles or once some of my other projects are complete so that I can dedicate my time to editing the bootleg subs.

Posted patches for the two disks. Sadly, the subtitles are bad but its the best we got. The group I got the subs from I think used the HK bootleg subs rather than actualy translating & fansubbing themselves.
I did a few grammar fixes here and there but there's just far too much so its pretty much the same, flawed but better than nothing. If anyone has a better script let me know.

Patch for vol 5 is complete. ADC is down right now and apparently won't be back until nearly a week from now. So for those that downloaded the raw ISO you can get the patch I uploaded to Megaupload. From what I remember the raw ISO at ADC is dead, so I'll upload the subbed disc once they're back.

Big thanks to Hayllander for providing the subs from Central-Anime. Most signs aren't subbed. I did my best to fix a lot of the errors but don't expect perfection.

UPDATE: I will be re-doing this. I noticed Central-Anime have been releasing Yamato Remastered MKV rips with soft subtitles so I'll be using those. Besides, on this disc I didn't use the same font & light yellow that I used on the previous discs. So expect a different, much better patch soon.

Genesis Survivor Gaiarth R2J Complete Set

I added both the sub & dub to this OVA. Thanks to R2JT for sending my the subs.
Japanese audio has been re-encoded from LPCM to AC3 at that codecs max bitrate of 640 Kbps. It wasn't possible to add the English audio otherwise because bitrate was at max. However I can upload a sub only release with the LPCM audio intact.

English audio taken from AnimEigo LD rips. No downsampling was done, kept at its original bitrate of 256 Kbps.

The subs aren't perfect, but overall they're fine. I'm pretty sure they were OCR from AnimEigo's VHS or LD.

Volume 5 complete. Like some of the previous DVDs I did notice the video was very slightly out of sync to the audio/sub. At least what I sampled on my computer, I could be wrong or maybe it won't be noticeable. These Russian custom made R2J DVD's aren't perfect I guess. So if anyone has the actual R2J DVDs please upload them.

This disc starts where the R1 left off. The fansub script starts with episode 14 and in my opinion its better & easier to work with. So I hope to get future volumes out at a faster pace.

Thanks to psychofede for sending me the sub & qaz for uploading the raw ISO.

Theres two English subs. The first has a color set to each character. The second is all white.
The different color for characters something neat the fansubber's made but please note that DVD subtitles are limited to 2 colors at once, so for example if there's 3 or more character lines that appear at once then there will only be two colors used. I edited lines like that to be all white so that's how most should appear.

I have posted Disc 1 thanks to exedore, who sent me the scripts. Otherwise the wait could've been long. One thing I did different from disc 4 is remove the space before the Exclamation & Question marks. Sentences look odd to me like that. I should've done it with Disc 4...

I included a custom 27mm Brick cover of Set 1 that I made by scanning the box. As well as the disk labels.
You can also get them at AAcovers.net when they update. For those waiting for the double case 14mm cases like I did for disc 3 & 4 that will be done at a later time.

Anyway, Set 1 Disc 4 of Touch has been posted.Big thanks to Central-Anime. I look forward to their 1-16 soft subbed releases. Its a little strange to start on disc 4, but I don't have a choice at this time.

The DVDs are in jewel cases so I scanned the art and will be making custom covers for 14mm double cases. Cover for Disc 3 & 4 is in the torrent. I forgot to include the disc labels but I'll upload them to AACovers and include them in my next torrent(Disc 5).

I was lucky enough to get the Remastered DVD Set 1 for a decent price at Yahoo Auctions which contains 6 discs, episodes 1-36. I should get it in the mail soon.

Central-Anime has released great soft subs for episodes 17-30 so far so I'll be using those. So I might have to start with disc 4 first. They will release soft subs for episodes 1-16 later. They said after Macross 7 they might release them, they're almost done with that show so hopefully it won't be that long.

This is one of my top favorites. In Japan its one of the most popular anime made, but sadly its not well known to Western fans. I highly recommend it for all fans of comedy, drama, romance and of course sports. However I must warn anyone who hasn't seen the show to not read any reviews or plot summary since they always seem to give away a huge spoiler that happens in the show.

Volume 3 is complete, episodes 13-18. Don't expect the subs to be perfect. I noticed errors in the script & fixed what I saw but I'm sure I didn't get everything. The end of Episode 17 was missing 5 or so lines so I manual inserted them.

Patch for vol 3 and been posted, apply to the raw that I posted last week. After many months I've finally started on continuing Yamato thanks to member Hayllander providing the sub scripts from from Central-Anime's hard coded fansubs.
There's a few differences from the previous releases. Most of the signs aren't subbed & the blue color of the narration has been dropped. They are just way too time consuming, I'd have to watch the episode & manual insert/edit them.

I recently got a PSP & have started encoding some anime to PSP. The problem I have with many anime PSP video encodes from other sites are that they're usually pretty low to decent quality, I want very high quality so thats why my PSP videos are larger. I plan to encode some of my DVDs to PSP if people are interested, so far I'm just doing fansubs from other groups. I'll be uploading them to SendSpace.

Sub & Dub taken from the R1. No re-encoding/downsampling of audio was done. Secondary sub track is signs only. I tried to add another dub track with the Japanese songs instead of the English songs, but there wasn't enough bitrate for a third audio track since this disc was set nearly max on bitrate. I wanted to add the fansub script as well, however it was very bad so I dropped that.
There is a 5 minute extra after ep 2, at a 1990 convention with interviews. It is subbed since this was on the R1.

Patch for Rose of Versailles Vol 2 has been completed & uploaded. I had forgotten that kiches sent me improved subtitles for most of the show. So editing didn't take as long as I thought it would, mostly just fixing names. Timing on the other hand took the longest, it was a timing mess but hopefully future release won't take as long.

I can see from the poll so far that there's a lot of demand for Rose of Versailles. So just so you guys know I've started to work on it and there probably won't be any other releases until this disc is done.
It is my most difficult project by far. It requires a lot of timing & editing because the scripts are from an old fansub JACOsub format. It seems every few minutes in the script I have to re-time it. Some misspelled words/errors that need to be corrected. There's lines that are oddly duplicated which would be fine if for example the first ends at 0:15:00:02 and the duplicate starts at 0:15:00:03, however that isn't always the case. Please be patient with these releases.
